2012 Sandhi Sparkling Pinot Noir Rosé
The product of a special collaboration between Raj Parr, Alexandre Chartogne, and Michael Cruse, this sparkling wine was made in the traditional Champagne method. The wine is classified as 'Brut Nature', meaning no dosage was added to sweeten the finished wine.
This is the second disgorgement of this wine (1,000 bottles in January 2017). The previous disgorgement was in October 2015. Now, the wine has more time on the lees, acquiring richness and texture. If you’re still cellaring our first disgorgement, we heartily encourage a side-by-side tasting. The finished wine is a slight pink color, perfectly effervescent, mineral driven with notes of strawberry and white peach fruits. The palate is bright and clean, with plenty of red fruit character and a touch of bright lemon and refreshing acidity.
